The title for the romance suspense fiction is actually... Windrunner.

How very odd. Last July, The Library of Congress cataloged Things I Forgot to Tell You, 2nd ed. for its public database--WorldCat.
The record was updated again a few days ago. This particular book of poetry has been out of print for about two years. Perhaps an unrealized sleeper hit? Still, if it were to be held by a library, then let it be the library of record for the United States. ;-)

193 pages of Eternal Searcher! It's all over but the rewrites, and the edits, and the revisions, and the design, and the layout, and the marketing/advertising/publicity. Other than that, it's ready for Valentine's Day!

Soon, I will explain the process behind the latest travel romance forthcoming 2012. Looking back to earlier McQueen Press publications from 2005 forward, I can see how I've grown as a writer.
Right now, I'm sitting in class at Denver Public Library–Marketing with Social Networks. Later today at DPL, HTML and CSS. Still later Key Strategies for Business Success with Denver Office of Economic Development. Love the busy Mondays!

SUDAN: The Lion of Truth screenplay
August 8, 2011
Cross-posted update from Lee:
Very busy lately uploading lots of new content to www.mcqueenpress.com and finalzing details on the 2nd edition of The Angel and the Lion (now called SUDAN: Lion of Truth) screenplay. Wouldn't it be nice to sit in a movie theater in the dark and then suddenly see "Screenplay by..." or "Story by..." accompanied by orchestral music? The scream you'll hear will be me! I tell you, that's been one of my dreams for a long time. But baby steps first. :-) You hear it first before anyone! SUDAN: The Lion of Truth, 2011 is available on Amazon for $9.99. The first version (The Angel and the Lion, 2006) is still available at Lulu.com for $9.99 and $1.99 as a pdf download. I also wrote a screenplay version of Octavia Butler's Kindred because I and a number of people really feel it would make an excellent movie. Someone even suggested that it would make a great stageplay. The adapted Kindred screenplay is a free download. If you believe in the book as much as I do, I'd love to hear from you. And, of course I'd appreciate any thoughts on the original screenplay (SUDAN: The Lion of Truth). Fortunately for me, I feel just fine letting producers, directors, script doctors, even cinematographers have a go at them. Come one, come all to the production ball! Also, I shopped Celara Sun to several producers with a short stageplay of Chapter 11 of that story titled The Exit--the scene where Martina is trapped in a car with Alex and Evan, one of which may or may not be her ally. Four producers replied in the negative. One producer hasn't replied yet, but I remain hopeful. I love writing! You put your dreams out there and hope others can dig it. John Cusak, can you dig it???? Finally, Writer in the Library!, my first non-fiction reference book continues to sell three years after release. Who knew? I'm surprised and pleased to report that Writer in the Library! has been added to many fine collections such as Ames Public Library, Chicago Public Library, Drake University, Grand View University, Illinois State Library, Los Angeles Public Library, University of Chicago, University of Iowa, University of Nevada, University of Northern Iowa Library, West Des Moines Public Library, Winterset Public Library, Woodward Public Library, Xavier University, etc. In the meantime, the creative spirit in the Southwest has renewed and enhanced my output and I am very glad to start scribbling again. Who knows what I'll come up with next? All kinds of crazy stuff!

2nd Edition NEW!
SUDAN: The Lion of Truth
While the first edition of The Angel and the Lion was 8 ½ x 11, the second edition has been adjusted to traditional trade paperback size, 6 x 9 for easier distribution. Besides the new cover, while there have been additions and deletions to the front and back matter and minor punctuation edits to the short
story, the text of the actual screenplay remains unchanged.I leave it to producers, directors, cinematographers, and others to determine the always necessary adjustments for translation to the silver screen.
