McQueen Press is Two Years Old!
April 2, 2008
McQueen Press launched March 2006.
Two years and six publications later, it's still moving ahead.
Writer in the Library! the latest non-fiction reference published this past February, has received positive reviews from both the authors who participated and readers who picked up a copy.
Hopefully, Writer in the Library! will gain even greater readership. I have greatly enjoyed corresponding with all the visitors. In addition, I'd really like to introduce Writer in the Library! to more readers via other marketing venues including journal reviews and the annual library conference.
Stay tuned for more information on the conference and other endeavors.
In the meantime, thank you readers and authors alike for your support of Writer in the Library! and your positive feedback.
Forthcoming late 2008 is Jeannie East, then West (novel) and The Dark Fantastic (short story collection).
All the Writers in the Library! Available Jan 31st

This reference non-fiction work collects the interviews and submissions of forty-one fiction and non-fiction of writers who discussed the impact of libraries on their writing careers. Writer in the Library! exists especially for new and established writers, librarians, teachers, writing and book industry professionals, and fans.
McQueen Press would also like to know whether libraries have/had relevance to your own writing careers.
